In order for students to gain a clear and understandable vision of their learning targets, they must come to hold an understanding about quality similar to the teacher's. Once a common understanding of quality criteria is established, students are empowered to engage in peer feedback, self-assessment, and goal-setting. In this session, we will illustrate a variety of methods teachers can use strong and weak work to develop lists and rubrics of quality criteria, including co-creating criteria.
